LEED Fundamental & Standard Scope

  • Serve as Commissioning Authority on behalf of the Owner to ensure that the project intent is achieved for the commissioned systems
  • Conduct a Commissioning Kick-Off Meeting
  • Work with the project and commissioning team to ensure that the Design Intent, Owners Project Requirements (OPR), and Basis of Design (BOD) are documented, reviewed and formalized for submittal.
  • Develop Commissioning Specification if required
  • Develop and implement a Commissioning Plan and incorporate into project schedule
  • Perform a Fundamental Commissioning Submittal, Shop Drawings, and Design Review and report any deficiencies to the Owner.
  • Develop and maintain an “Issue Log” and track deficiencies and discrepancies with the BOD and OPR to resolution
  • Provide periodic Commissioning Progress Reports
  • Perform periodic site inspection/observations during construction
  • Develop Pre-Commissioning/Start-Up Checks and lead/implement with other commissioning team members to verify that the commissioned equipment and system are installed properly and are ready for start-up
  • Verify a sample of TAB measurement data
  • Develop Functional Performance Tests and lead/implement with other commissioning team members to verify the proper performance of the equipment and systems
  • Develop a Final Commissioning Summary Report Documentation of the entire Commissioning Process for inclusion in the Final Commissioning Record, including Commissioning Plan, TAB Report, Progress Reports, Issues Log, Final Commissioning Summary Report, etc.
  • Assemble Final Commissioning Record and Issue to the Owner
